We wish to look back on our participation in the International Logistics Show in Barcelona at the beginning of June. The three days spent at this benchmark exhibition for logistics professionals in Spain were intense and rich in exchanges. Here is an overview of this event in pictures.

On the first day of inauguration, the officials came to visit us at our stand and decided to take a memorable photograph to mark the occasion.
One of the changes this year was sharing a stand with COSMA Rail Transport, for which SNCF Logistics is a shareholder, and with whom we have been working for two years on various development projects between Spain and the rest of Europe. This was the perfect opportunity to highlight the strength of the two companies’ collaboration.
On the very first morning, Miguel de Sanjuan (Sales Manager Iberia) was invited to speak at the conference day organised at the Barcelona Port stand on the theme of Business Port, and presented development opportunities in the form of a new rail motorway terminal in a port.
On the morning of the last day, the Deputy Prime Minister of Spain, Soraya SAENZ DE SANTAMARIA, came to visit us.
Alfio CENTOCINQUE, member of the Board of EKOL, was given the trophy by Thierry LE GUILLOUX.
This year, we awarded the VIIA trophy for Best Partnership 2016 to the carrier company EKOL, with which we will launch a new route between Sète and Paris connected to EKOL’s maritime transport service between Izmir (Turkey) and Sète.
In summary, we had a constant flow of visitors to our stand during the three days, a visit from Spanish officials, many people during our cocktail reception and VIIA Best Partnership 2016 award ceremony for EKOL, a successful collaboration with COSMA, and rewarding contacts, discussions, and work meetings. The exhibition was a success!
